STAFF at West Way Nissan in Stourbridge are encouraging drivers in the area to “Turn On” to a low-carbon lifestyle for a more sustainable future.
The Big Turn On Campaign, a Nissan European initiative, is encouraging people across the country to register their commitment to low-carbon motoring to be in with the chance of winning 30 electric charge points for their region.
The rapid chargers, which enable drivers to give their vehicles an 80 per cent charge in fewer than 30 minutes, will see a £250,000 investment in the winning region and make it one of the most “Turned On” in the country.
The campaign, backed by the Brettell Lane dealership, follows the manufacturer’s sponsorship of Climate Week and the first anniversary of the Nissan LEAF, the mass market, 100 per cent electric family car.
Drivers who support the campaign and register at nissan.co.uk/thebigturnon will have the opportunity to test drive the Nissan LEAF for 24 hours and record their experience on a specially-fitted camera.
Their comments and test-drive experience will feature on the exclusive The Big Turn On website, providing drivers interested in going electric with a wealth of independent reviews.
