FOLLOWING their fifth anniversary in February, Halesowen estate agency Bloore and King have been on a mission to expand their business.

Phase One involved extra advertising, the appointment of Annette Smith to promote sales and their brand new liveried Citroen DS3.

Now they are putting phase two into action.

Chris Bloore said: ‘This second phase of our expansion is very exciting. We recently looked into our sales and lettings business with a view to what we wanted to achieve and how best to do it.

“We looked at the possibility of a new branch in a different location but ultimately decided that our Halesowen office is where we want to concentrate and build our brand and our market share around this.

“Our team in Halesowen is very tight knit and work exceptionally well together and we think now is the time to really build on the fantastic success we have already had to date.”

Bloore and king say their success is largely down to the hard work they have put in over the recession years.

They are not only a family owned business but the business is actually run by the family on a day-to-day basis and this is what they believe has cemented their reputation and led to the year-on-year growth they have acheived.

The volume of thank-you letters all over their Halesowen office from happy clients underlines what good a job they are doing.

The company have now just taken delivery of their new liveried Citroen C1 to go alongside the DS3 they had in March and they have totally re-designed their for sale boards with a modern crisp design to catch the eye as they are rolled out onto properties all over the area. There is a brand new website which has just been launched and Chris Bloore said: “This has been built from scratch and the new design and colours have been taken from our new boards.

“The whole site is far easier to navigate and the user experience is greatly enhanced. The site is designed with the user in mind with more information which is easier to find.

“There is an easy-to-navigate property search, pages of information about our service, our company along with information for landlords, tenants and sellers alike.

“From feedback we have had from customers about what they want from a website, we needed to make sure that it is easy to use and has loads of information and stuff to keep people interested. I think we have really achieved this and I love the result.”

As part of the expansion there is another new face in the office.

Rachael Radford has joined the team as sales progressor.

Louise Bloore said: “The sales have increased so much this year that we took on Annette in March to promote property sales.

“This has been such a resounding success that we now have the need for a full time sales progressor and that is where Rachael comes in.

“We are so proud of the fact that with those first few years after our launch of struggling through the recession we are now in a position that we are so busy we are employing more staff in the local area and are really excited about our future.”
