Worcestershire residents are invited to come and see the premiere film showing of Offal Tales, a spectacular tailor made show which was performed at The Hive in July to celebrate the opening of this iconic building. Vamos Theatre presented 'Offal Tales': Stories of the Worcester Cattle Market which showcased a mix of history and hilarity, telling stories of the people and places of the cattle market, the site where The Hive now stands.

Offal Tales brought to life the recordings which form part of the Beyond the City Wall exhibition currently on a 20 month tour around the county's libraries. All the scenes in this spectacular performance highlight the memories discovered by the Archive and Archaeology Service here at The Hive.

This fun loving show is being brought back to life for three free film showings in The Studio at The Hive in December on Tuesday 11, Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.

Expect masks and puppets, music, singing pigs and dancing cows! The show is suitable for family audiences, and there is wheelchair access.

All performances are free and must be booked in advance as places are limited. Please e-mail hiveadminteam@worcestershire.gov.uk with details of which show you would like to attend or visit the website for more details – www.thehiveworcester.org.

Justin Hughes, Archaeological Project Officer at The Hive, said, "We are very excited to have this special performance all about The Hive's site brought back to life on film. The shows in July proved to be a great success with the public and we will be having film showings of the performance to give even more people the opportunity to enjoy this spectacular VAMOS show."
