As part of the creepy Summer Reading Challenge, there's an opportunity for children aged between 4 and 11 to enjoy stories and take part in a range of craft activities which include making finger puppets, masks and a dancing skeleton to hang in the library.

The event will take place on Thursday, August 15, between 10.30am and 11.15am in the gallery of Stourport Library.

Library manager Maureen Hobbs, said: "This is a really great opportunity for children to use their imagination and show off their creativity. Reading for children is as popular as ever and we hope this will inspire them to take up the Summer Reading Challenge."
