IF the Conservatives don't lose a seat in the remainder to be contested during this year's Wyre Forest District Council elections, they will have gained an overall majority.
John Simmonds, Independent, was deposed from his Rock seat by Conservative, Douglas Godwin, who had a majority of 239 votes.
