At the end of April children from the Wyre Forest took part in a special fundraising event to help raise money for KEMP Hospice.
The Fun in the Forest treasure hunt saw over fifty children and their families follow clues along a one mile sponsored walk at the Forestry Commission at Callow Hill.
The exciting wildlife treasure hunt helped children learn about nature by spending a fun morning with their families, and support the Hospice at the same time.
Kate Wilkinson, Hospice Fundraiser says; "This was the first time we had organised something specifically for children and we were delighted with the response. We hope to hold a similar event next year".
So far the event has raised over £1500 for KEMP Hospice. Organisers are urging those who took part to return any remaining sponsorship money as soon as possible.
