Beauty students at Kidderminster College have turned their Butterfly Rooms base into a blushing shade of pretty pink as they raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

Portia Foster, Beauty Co-ordinator at the college said: "As part of our Breast Cancer Awareness week we have encouraged students to wear something pink and are selling Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign products in the salon. Our clients always give generously and they enjoy the spirit of fun injected into the salon - we really hope that the week will be hugely successful and we raise a lot of money for a much deserved cause."

The trainee beauty therapists hold fundraising events throughout the year but breast cancer awareness is very poignant for one Level 2 NVQ Beauty Therapy student: "Raising money for Breast Cancer is particularly important for me as my mum has spent the last year fighting and beating the disease."

Kidderminster College's Butterfly rooms are open to the general public for a whole variety of treatments from haircuts and colours to facials, manicures and aromatherapy massages. To make an appointment why not call today to book your a treatment on 01562 512008.
