TWO young mountain bikers are now all set for their mammoth 800-mile bike ride from Stourport to John O'Groats for the Back on Track appeal.
Adam Reis, of Trimpley, an engineer, and Tom Archer, of Upper Arley, a gardener, both 20, will start their journey on April 18 and believe it will take between 15 and 18 days to complete.
Mr Reis said: "Our training is going really well and we have got most of the equipment we need, including camping gear and new bikes."
He added: "I am really excited and can't wait to go. It is going to be amazing. I am very confident we will reach the finishing line."
The duo have, so far, raised about £200 and aim to reach the £1,000 mark. They will be contacting local businesses in the next few days.
To sponsor them, e-mail backontrack@live.co.uk and leave contact details.
