MEMBERS of Kidderminster and Stourport Athletic Club have chipped in another £579 for the Back on Track appeal by bagpacking for customers at Stourport Co-op.

It follows the success of their first round of bagpacking, when they raised a staggering £1,050 at Sainsbury's in Kidderminster on March 1.

Sue Saunders, club secretary, said 25 volunteers turned up last Saturday to the Lombard Street store.

She added: "I was really pleased with the turnout and with the amount raised. We didn't think we would raise this much so it was really good news."

She explained: "It was good fun and we are grateful to both stores for letting us do it."
