Hoo Road traffic cash will be lost
2:30pm Wednesday 7th May 2008
HOO Road residents in Kidderminster are less than a month away from losing a £100,000 tax-free gift. The Conservative-run county council seems determined to prevent them from getting it.

It cannot be a fine
11:57am Wednesday 7th May 2008
WHILE making no comment on the rights or wrongs of Mr Russello using a designated disabled parking space at Tesco, I would suggest that the constant use of the word "fine" to describe the charge levied upon him is misleading.

Good for Stourport

WHAT a good idea for the British sugar site from Dawn Stevens.

My heart sinks...

BOTH my sympathy and admiration goes out to my fellow residents of Bewdley's Woodthorpe Drive, Dowles Road, and Button Oak and beyond.

2:29pm Tuesday 6th May 2008

Pull together for hospital
2:28pm Monday 5th May 2008
I NOTE the visit by the Shadow Minister for Health to Kidderminster Hospital and his support for the Minor Injuries Unit and the development of a doctor-led service to expand the scope of the unit to treat more patients locally and prevent significant numbers having to go to Worcester.

Think again about Lickhill closure

I AM not a member of NUT myself but fully support those who are.

LETTER FROM BRUSSELS
2:26pm Thursday 1st May 2008
THE fiasco following the opening of London Heathrow Terminal 5 was inexcusable - especially when BA and BAA have had 19 years to plan it. The cancelled flights, the growing pile of lost bags, and the poor communication throughout to the passenger victims have understandably raised many tempers.

Bikes warn drivers to take extra care
8:22am Thursday 1st May 2008
LAST week's letter (Barmy bike decision) gives me the opportunity to highlight one of the important cycle routes in Wyre Forest, even though it's not quite complete.
