AS a Stourport town councillor I have been trying for the last 12 months to get Wyre Forest District Council to address the problem of fly tipping, litter and disgusting dog mess.
Sadly I haven't had a great deal of success due to the council's lack of response.
Now after reading the letter in the Shuttle (April 24) from two children, Ayrton and Luke Wilson, who took it on themselves to clear up rubbish dumped on land near their aunt and uncle's home in Stourport, I am thinking, will the council act now?
Dog mess is a big problem, all because the council fail to use their power.
I would like to congratulate these two youngsters for their responsible action.
