LICKHILL WI - President, Cherry Greaves, welcomed four visitors from Pumphouse WI, with whom Lickhill are twinned this year. The spring lunch at La Brasserie was a success. Lickhill have been asked to serve refreshments at the October council meeting at the Civic Centre, Stourport.
A coach has been booked for the summer outing to Bristol in August. There will be a Call My Bluff session in October. It is hoped members of Areley Kings and Pumphouse WIs will attend.
Lickhill's entry in the WI of the Year competition has been submitted. Mavis Morrisey said that the Stepping Out walking group hope to submit a walking route suggestion for the competition.
Future events include the next Forest Group meeting this month, a visit to Denman College and a possible ten pin bowling session in Worcester. Betty Rooney reported on a meeting with health experts on a possible flu epidemic.
Speaker Alan Thornton told of some of the hazards of being a seaside hotelier. The next speaker on April 16 will be Mrs M Channing on an unusual job for a lady. Visitors welcome.
THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS - The church is hosting a concert using original material performed by singer/songwriters in a variety of styles tomorrow at 7.30pm.
Artists appearing are Lou Richardson, Emma Forman, Beneva and Lament. This is not a church music concert.

SCOUT FELLOWSHIP - A fund-raising jewellery party is being held on Friday, April 18 at 8pm in St. Michael's Church Parish Room. All welcome. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available and a raffle will be run.
CORNERSTONE FAMILY CHURCH - Sunday services are held at 10.30am.

WESLEY METHODIST CHURCH - On Saturday at 6pm, residents are invited to a beetle drive and supper in the schoolroom.
The service at 10.30am on Sunday will be led by Mr John Stanbury.
