WI - Twenty-six members were welcomed by president Mrs Carol Hardy to the April Meeting. Reports were given on the skittle evening at The Squirrel at Alverley, the group meeting at Habberley and the annual council meeting at Malvern.
Fay Marshall, the national president, addressed members as it is Worcestershire WI's 90th year of formation. The new county chairman is Julie Roberts.
Names were taken for the county walk, the first being on May 14. Speaker Mr E Shaw gave a talk about living in Arizona.
At the next meeting on May 12, combined with Cookley WI, resolutions will be discussed.
