WORCESTERSHIRE M.E. SUPPORT GROUP - All people with M.E., CFS and FMS, and their carers, friends and relatives, are welcome to attend meetings. They are held at Kidderminster Library, Market Street, on the third Wednesday of every month between 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

WORCESTERSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST - A record 25 members joined John and Beryl Jackson's walk at Shrawley Woods on April 13. Many spring flowers were seen, including drifts of wood anemone and early bluebells. A visit was made on the route to the historic Oliver's Mount, which had guarded the nearby crossing on the River Severn. The walk ended with refreshments at the Rose and Crown Inn.
This year the trust celebrates its 40th birthday, and among the events over the next few weeks is a walk this Sunday. It is a commemorative walk near Randan Wood, to celebrate the late Fred Fincher's gift to the trust of its first reserve.
Meet at 10am at the main entrance gate to Chaddesley Woods on Woodcote Green Lane. (SO915736). The walk is three miles, undulating countryside with no stiles. For further details, contact David Howell 01562 741891.
SEVERN SIDE RAMBLERS - A walk of about eight miles duration around Mamble has been organised for Sunday.
Ramblers are asked to meet at the Memorial Park Gates, Park Avenue, Stourport, at 9am prompt. Transport can be arranged. New walkers will be made welcome.

RAMBLERS ASSOCIATION - The group will be have a 5.75 mile walk from the Post Office in Long Compton (grid reference SP288327) on Sunday. Meet at 9.30am at Vale Road car park, Stourport. Bring a packed lunch. Telephone Ray on 01299 824084 for more details.
