LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY - The next talk in the calendar will be given by Pauline Annis on The Baldwins, the well-known industrial Worcestershire family that began to assume prominence in the iron foundry business in the 1780s and, a century and a half later, produced a Prime Minister. Mrs Annis will illustrate her talk with photographs from the family album.

The event takes place at the next meeting of the society at 7.30pm on Tuesday in the Village Hall. There is a small admission charge for non-members. For information call Trevor Kingsley-Curry on 01562 777407 or e-mail woodcotebothy @btinternet.com
