WI - President Margaret Mills welcomed members to the resolutions meeting. Forthcoming events include a visit to Coughton Court on August 6, autumn group luncheon at The Granary on September 25, visit to link WI, Callow Hill, on June 10 for a talk on pressed flowers.
Past county chairman Chris Marriott invited members to visit her open garden day on June 7.
The president will be holding a fund-raising coffee morning at her new home on July 16. She explained the background to the two resolutions to be voted on at the AGM and after discussions the votes were taken.
A ploughman's supper arranged by Sylvia Roberts was followed by a beetle drive, which was won by Sue Cashmore.
The next meeting will be on June 2, when the speaker will be Shirley Cadman on delicious desserts. The competition is for an evening bag. Visitors welcome at The Oaks Community Hall, Mustow Green at 7.30pm.
