MAY day traditions through the ages will be explored at Harvington Hall today.
Morris dancers are set to perform at the event and the hall's volunteers have made a maypole which they have been learning how to dance around.
The maypole will be decorated in a traditional style and visitors are invited to join in the dancing. They can also take part in Tudor games in the gardens.
There will be guided tours throughout the day, which starts at 11am and a visit from the Green Man of the May Day tradition.
The hall's tea room and shop will be open as usual. For further information, contact the hall on 01562 777846.
