New body to combat vandalism rejected

A CALL for a new body to be set up to combat the "vandalised and down-at-heel appearance of much of Stourport town centre" has been rejected.

Labour councillor, Jamie Shaw, proposed the motion at a meeting of Stourport Town Council tonight but the majority of councillors said looking after the town was already their concern.
