VISITORS to a Bewdley veterinary clinic will be served tea and biscuits during a party which will raise money for charity.

The event will take place at the Riverside Veterinary Clinic, in Severnside South, on Friday, May 16 between 11am and 2pm.

Money raised on the day will be donated to The Blue Cross Animal Charity - a charity which provides support, information and advice for pet owners.

Sarah Rochelle, clinic manager, said: "Tea parties for the Blue Cross Charity are run all over the country. We thought it would be a good idea to bring clients into the surgery while raising money for the charity.

"We have had the front of the clinic painted and the party is a chance for people to come and have a look at the surgery. It's a chance for us to show off the new building.

"There will be a raffle with prizes including cuddly toys, microchips and cakes."

She added that she was hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for the charity.
