FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car in Egerton which was emitting smoke on Saturday morning.
A Range Rover, parked near the Cross Guns pub in Blackburn Road, began smouldering due to an electrical short circuit.
A crew from Bolton North station disconnected the wiring shortly after 6am.
