WYRE Forest District are to be commended - they have done us proud. There are wonderful areas of daffodils and crocuses and they have tidied up some of our scruffier areas like the roadside from the Safari Park to the by-pass island.
How sad it is, therefore, that their efforts are not appreciated by a selfish minority who continue to dump boxes, carrier bags of rubbish etc.
Apart from the general look of any area, do they not realise that litter collection costs money which could be put to far better use?
On the same subject, whenever we phone Streetscene about the amount of litter accumulating on the Dowles Road in Bewdley, they are out within a matter of hours to clean up.
Thank you WFDC – a lot us really appreciate you.
