WHILST it is of concern that the local Register Office in Kidderminster is again on the move, and should most definitely be kept as local as possible within the town or district, of equal concern is the need to keep the significant and historic building in which it is currently housed within the public domain.
Perhaps the district council could purchase it from the county council, with a view to it becoming the administrative headquarters of the long-hoped-for Kidderminster Town Council – as and when.
