THE Conservatives have now promised £7 billion in tax cuts. What a hoot!

After four and a half years of austerity, budget cuts, low wages, zerohour contracts and failure to balance the books, they are now trying to hoodwink those who have endured falling living standards by trying to bribe potential voters.

There is no attempt to balance the books now. It is just desperate measures to shore up their perilous political position.

Forget past Tory promises about spending commitments to various public services.

This £7 billion tax bribe has finally shown the public that political fear of losing the next General Election has forced the Tories to drop all pretence at economic competence.
