Once again I wish to thank the kind people of Kidderminster for their generosity during the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2014, and also thanks to the out of town shoppers who also donated to this appeal when they came into town to the Kidderminster stores. To the many shops and businesses throughout the town who kindly allowed us to place the boxes of poppies and collecting tins on their property, and added to the impressive total for this years appeal, thank you.

Thirdly I would like to thank the volunteer collectors, who manned the static collection points throughout the town all week, for your time, your help was invaluable.

The amount collected throughout the week and since has totalled £36,200 so far with some small amounts still to come, a tremendous achievement on the part of everyone both those who donated money so generously and the volunteers.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2014 LIVE ON – To the memory of the fallen, and the future of the living.

With tremendous thanks for your kind hearted generosity.
