It was interesting to read The Kidderminster Shuttle’s upbeat article about the opening of the new British Heart Foundation shop in Kidderminster.
However, that funding is likely to be considerably reduced because many members of the public now feel unable to support the BHF, after the charity was exposed by national animal protection group Animal Aid for involvement in cruel research on animals.
This led to the British Heart Foundation receiving more than 3,000 complaints and it really is such a shame that a charity which gives very important advice on the prevention of heart disease should cause great harm to its own good work through being involved in what appears to be appalling cruelty.
