I was disgusted at the length of the queues at the Gainsborough House Hotel for voting – my husband and I have a busy day starting at 5am and it is 7pm before we are home and have dinner (one of Britain’s hard working families). We went to the Gainsborough (our new polling station) at 8.15pm and were greeted by a large queue of approximately 100- plus. There is no way after a long day that we would consider waiting that long so we did not vote. It will be a postal vote for us next time.
