On May 19 at around 4pm in broad daylight, a couple pulled up in their car outside my house in the Sutton Park area. The woman approached my cat and attempted to lure it with cat treats while the man prepared a cat basket.
Thankfully my neighbour spotted them and confronted the woman.
She said her cat was missing and she thought it was hers. Wouldn’t you recognize your own animal? The whole episode was recorded on CCTV and the police were informed, however cat owners beware. If yours goes missing please advise the police.
I am very angry that a supposed cat lover would take another person’s pet.
