Don't claim credit
MY neighbour and I were surprised to read in the Arley Kings & Riverside Matters – the local Conservative newsletter for June edited by Ken and Lin Henderson – that number one on their list of work done in the past four years by Conservative town councillors was the resolution of sewage problems at Chapel Lane/ Areley Common.
In fact this problem arose not four years ago but seven and the resolution of the matter was brought about by the residents of Chapel Lane and their insurers and had absolutely nothing to do with any councillor of any political party.
