HSBC Bank in Bewdley is to close in January 2016.

An absolute disgrace!

Tax payers put in over £100 billion to save the banking system in 2008. This is their repayment, and Barclays also closed last year.

Bankers bonuses are still taken, even though the bank closure programme is relentless. HSBC’s decision will be disastrous for Bewdley.

The Prime Minister lately commented that the “last bank standing in any town should remain open.” So much for that! Talk is cheap!

Those who took the decision at HSBC HQ should come to Bewdley and talk to the people to explain their decision. Of course they won’t! We’re just another expendable piece in their project.

Personally, I would like the tax HSBC and the other banks took from me and millions like me, refunded.

This example is exactly why Corbyn was elected to lead the Labour Party.
