I write to urge the District Council to consider postponing or abandoning the proposed increase in car park charges for Kidderminster.
The disruption to the town centre over this year has significantly impacted on traders in the town centre.
We must do all we can to encourage shoppers to stay in Kidderminster and not go to take advantage of the free parking at Merry Hill.
The one day a week free parking from November 12 is welcome but the 4pm free parking concession is too late in the day for many shoppers and should be brought forward. Lets try and make it a Merry Christmas for our hard pressed businesses.
