I was interested to read the article (IVF cuts given go-ahead by NHS bosses, Shuttle, July 13).
I do wonder if our society should really be supporting such treatments at all, in a situation where the human species is already grossly overpopulated, to the detriment of other animals inhabiting this planet.
We need to be working harder to reduce the number of humans conceived, rather than using artificial means to increase it.
