WITH regards to the woman who slipped on the slope at the bottom of the ‘Hollow’ at Bark Hill, Bewdley.

I have been campaigning to have improvements made to this slope for several years.

As well as being a safety issue for pedestrians there is also the danger from falling stonework from beneath the railings to vehicles.

I have requested that the slope be treated with a non-slip material or replaced with more steps and that the wall under the handrail be repaired.

As well as the safety considerations this area is the gateway to Bark Hill and at the moment it looks in a sad state.
