Human excrement on park play area

I AM writing to let you know about the disgusting experience my mum had when using Brinton Park. She had taken my two children, aged eight and four, to the play area while I was at work.

And they were playing nicely until my son discovered what they thought was dog excrement on his hand. But when my mum looked closer it appeared to be human excrement which had been smeared on the monkey bars.

Luckily she had some baby wipes in her car and she took him to the car to clean him up but in the time it took to clean him up and return to the park other people were then using the area and had also had the misfortune to come into contact with it.

I called the council to let them know and they said they would send someone straight away to clean it up.

Whoever did this was just an animal. What sort of a person would put their own excrement on a children’s play area knowing that a child would end up with it on them? They obviously need serious help.

I would just like to say to anyone intending using the play area in future to check everywhere before they let their children use it.
