A MAN has died and two others have been injured following a road crash in Kidderminster last night.

The accident happened on the A448, Stone at around 11.30pm. Three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and the Trusts MERIT Team attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find two cars that had been in a serious crash.

“One man was in traumatic cardiac arrest and received emergency treatment, including advanced life support. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of ambulance staff, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“A second man, believed to be in his 20s, suffered a serious shoulder injury. He was treated at the scene and was transferred by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further emergency treatment.

“A third man, believed to be in his mid-30s, suffered neck injuries. He also received treatment at the scene and was transferred by ambulance to the same hospital for treatment.”
