Coroner closes file into Betty Yates' death

A CORONER has closed the file into the death of retired teacher Betty Yates.

The inquest into her death will not be resumed following a trial in which homeless drifter Stephen Farrow was convicted for her murder.

Mrs Yates, 77, was found dead at her Bewdley home on January 4.
