Driver who died in Far Forest road crash named

THE man who died when his car left the road in Far Forest has been named as Aleksandar Krstic.

Mr Krstic, 60, of Birmingham Road, Kidderminster, was the driver of a yellow Peugeot 107 which went through a hedge and ended up in a field near the Plough Inn pub on the A4117 Cleobury Road at about 8.20am yesterday.

Police said he was travelling from the direction of Cleobury Mortimer towards Bewdley. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics and a post-mortem is due to take place later today.

Anyone who saw the incident or remembered seeing the car just before 8.20am should call PC Richard Watkins at West Mercia Police’s force operational support team on 101, quoting incident 95-S-191212.
