Kidderminster man charged with possessing weapon

A Kidderminster man has been charged with possessing a prohibited weapon and a a quantity of cocaine.

The 35-year-old man was arrested after a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was used in Lister Road on November 23.

The man was charged with possessing a prohibited weapon disguised as another object and possession of cocaine when he answered police bail on Wednesday.

He is due to appear before Kidderminster magistrates on Thursday, January 24.
