Kidderminster talk on girls' high school

THE Wyre Forest Historical Research Group will hold its first meeting of the year on Tuesday.
Jo Roche will give a talk called Pioneers in Petticoats, which tells the story of the founders of Kidderminster High School for Girls and Hill Grove House, the school's home for more than 100 years.
Publicity Officer Gay Hill said: “I am sure that many former students at the school will be interested to hear the story of both the building and the founding of the schoolin 1868 at Broomfield Hall. It promises to be a fascinating talk."
The meeting will take place in the King Charles Room, upstairs at Kidderminster Town Hall, at 2pm.
