Mother reunited with stolen car

A SINGLE mother has been reunited with her car a day after it was stolen with her three-month-old son's pushchair inside.

Heidi Virgo's Volkswagen Golf, which also had her bank cards and passport inside, was found in Comberton Hill yesterday, hours after The Shuttle reported her plight.

Miss Virgo said she was relieved to have her car back, after it was taken from Marlpool Lane on Wednesday.

She said: "I'm so happy. If it wasn't for [The Shuttle] I wouldn't have got it back.

"The car is in the same condition and everything that was in the car is still in it."
