'No' vote wins day on EU poll

MORE than 1,000 votes were cast in our internet poll on whether the UK should remain as a member of the European Union.

More than half of those who voted believed the UK should pull out.

Fifty-six per cent voted to end our EU membership, while 42 per cent believed we should continue.

One per cent said they did not know which was the best course of action.

The poll was carried out on kidderminstershuttle.co.uk between January 23 and January 29.

A total of 1,043 votes were cast

Would be surprised if there was such a big turnout in an actual referendum. Though if the electoral process was taken more seriously anything is possible. Bring on the Hokey Cokey Referendum.
