Traveller site planned in Shenstone

PLANS have been drawn up to build a travelling show people site in Shenstone.
The site in Heath Lane would have eight residential caravans, 10 touring caravans and one static caravan as well as storage for equipment and vehicles.
The site is next to Madinatul Uloom Al Islamiya School and is currently used as agricultural land.
Proposals also show that sufficient storage space would to be made for about seven to 10 heavy goods vehicles which are combined fair rides.
The proposals can be viewed at Wyre Forest Customer Service Centre in Kidderminster Town Hall and a consultation period on the application is underway.
