VOLUNTARY groups in Kidderminster can tap into their creative side thanks to Quench Arts who are staging an organisation development presentation.
It is being organised by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with KAF Creatives and will take place at Kidderminster Library’s top-floor gallery on Thursday, February 21 at 6.30pm.
The event will start with a creative and upbeat presentation followed by a question and answer session. All organisations are welcome to the event and it is not solely for arts based companies.
Following the session, KAF Creatives will invite guests to an informal get-together in the Boar’s Head gallery, Worcester Street.
Nicola Briggs, co-founder and director of the Birmingham-based arts group, has several years experience managing and coordinating community arts projects. She has developed volunteering programmes and supported emerging artists.
Conservative councillor Ian Hardiman, council cabinet member for community well-being, said: “This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn from an experienced, well-established organisation.
“It will provide local residents with information that could really boost their work. I suggest guests come with plenty of questions to really make the most out of the session.”
