A FAIRTRADE coffee grower from Central America will be giving a talk at a Kidderminster supermarket.

Basilio Chales Pablo from Guatemala will be at the Midcounties food store, in Franche Road on Monday, February 25.

He is visiting the UK to share his experiences and talk about the importance of Fairtrade produce.

The event, organised by the Midcounties membership team, will run from 11am until 4pm and will highlight the importance of ethical trading.

Rachel Lockett, membership development officer, said: “We have organised this free, fun and engaging event to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight and help colleagues, members and customers learn about the importance of supporting Fairtrade producers and being part of the wider, international co-operative movement.”
