FIREFIGHTERS from Kidderminster station rescued a horse from a canal basin in Stourport this morning.

Crews were called to the basin at around 7.15am and took about half-an-hour to winch the animal out of the water.

When will these animals learn eh? If they're not getting mixed up with our beef they're horsing around in our canals. They're taking liberties.

Why should we be saddled with this ill behaviour? My mane complaint is that they contribute nothing towards the services that clear up after them. Neigh more, that's what I say.

Good point to point made here.

A tail like this is all well and good but where are the facts? Basin a story like this on rumours is ok but canter someone provide pictures?

Well done to the fire team, I'm glad they had enough horsepower to winch it out.
