AN ANNUAL show for the district’s bunny owners is hopping into town.

Organisers of the North Worcestershire Rabbit Show are hoping this year’s show at Kidderminster Town Hall, on Saturday, March 23, will build on the success of last year’s event - which saw 30 rabbits and 100 people attend.

Bunny owners will be able to show off their beloved pets in the competition which includes categories such as the furriest bunny, rabbit with the most colourful coat and best family pet.

Non-rabbit owners are also welcome to attend and there is also a category for the best cuddly toy rabbit.

The event will be attended by representatives of Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue who will be on hand to give advice on rabbit welfare to current and potential owners as well as provide activities for the children.

The charity operates across the West Midlands and has successfully rehomed more than 800 rabbits since it was set up in 2008. Local vets will also be at the event to give free health checks.
