THE fine china will be out when a Stourport care home is transformed intoa scene from as ummer garden party for Dementia UK’s Time for a Cuppa fund-raiser.
Residents at Ravenhurst Care Home,in Lickhil lRoad North, are inviting people to theirTime for a Cuppa tea party on Tuesday between 3pm and 5pm.
The home will be transformed into a scene from a summer’s day,with the residents and team donning straw hats.
Anastasia Meredith,manager, said: “Many of our residents have dementia so this is a charity which is extremely close to all our hearts here at Ravenhurst.
“Our residents are very creative so will be making some stunning floral decorations to make sure the home reallyl ooks the part.”
The money raised will go to Dementia UK to provide more specialist dementia nurses called Admiral Nurses.
