WYRE Forest residents are reminded to take part in a Question Time-style event.
A regeneration fair and the district’s second state of the area debate will take place on Thursday from 5pm until 8pm at Wyre Forest District Council’s headquarters in Finepoint Way.
The public meeting, which starts at 6pm, will give members of the public the opportunity to put questions to the panel and have a say on the economic regeneration of Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley.
Shuttle editor Clive Joyce will chair the event and on the panel will be Ken Wigfield, Federation of Small Businesses regional chairman, John Andrews, partner of Doolittle and Dalley, Jane Smith from Kidderminster Academy, Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier and district council leader, Conservative councillor John Campion.
Before the debate gets underway the regeneration fair will provide a useful networking opportunity. Regeneration projects and proposed plans for economic development will be showcased and specialists will be on hand to discuss projects and ideas.
Members of the public and small business owners are invited to submit questions to be debated on the night. For more contact details visit wyreforestdc.gov.uk, search for Wyre Forest District Council on facebook or @wyreforestdc on twitter.
Submit your question on twitter by using #WFSOTA.
The council will be webcasting the meeting and tweeting live from the debate on Thursday.
