A MAN has been arrested in connection with a road crash in Cookley in which a woman died.

The smash, on the A449  in the early hours of December 8, claimed the life of Sam Jennings,  26, from Kingswinford.

She was a front seat passenger in a black Vauxhall Astra which left the road and hit a tree, near the Island Pool pub.

A 22-year-old Stourbridge man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, and possessing cannabis.
