6:30am Friday 16th August 2013 in Local
A 21-year-old man has pleaded guilty to taking part in the theft of nearly £5,000 worth of mobile phones from a shop in Kidderminster.
Kye Warner, of Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, Middlesex, initially denied being part of the robbery at the O2 shop in the High Street but has changed his plea.
Seventeen phones, including Blackberries and various Samsung Galaxy models, worth a total of £4,939, were stolen from the shop between 5pm and 5.20pm on March 20 this year.
Warner was remanded in custody at Worcester Crown Court and was warned by Judge Robert Juckes, QC, that he was facing a jail sentence when he returns to court.
A second man has already pleaded guilty to the offence. Another man is due to stand trial on September 2 and a pre-trial review was arranged for August 27.
