Third man in court on Kidderminster kidnap charge

A THIRD man has appeared in court in connecting with a kidnapping in Kidderminster.
Steven Taylor, 37, of Johnstone Street, Aston, Birmingham, is accused of conspiring to kidnap. A 37-year-old victim was allegedly kidnapped while walking in Upton Road at 9.55pm on Saturday, August 3.
He was found in the street in Horselea Croft, Alum Rock, Birmingham, at 2.15am on Monday, August 5, after police received a call from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.
Taylor was arrested yesterday and appeared before Kidderminster magistrates today.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Worcester Crown Court on November 11, with co-defendants Robert Watters, 47, of Chester Road, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham and Robert Collins, 58, of Eastham Court, Severnside, Bewdley.
Watters and Collins appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on August 8, also charged with conspiracy to kidnap.
A man and a woman remain on police bail pending further inquiries.
